MGA Entertainment, along with its subsidiary MGA Zapf Creation GmbH, has officially launched the second season of the BABY born animated series, premiering on Friday, August 23, on their official YouTube channel. As part of YouTube Kids’ Back-to-School takeover this month, the first episode is also being featured on the platform’s homepage.
Inspired by the beloved BABY born toy brand, which has graced store shelves for 33 years and sold nearly 27 million dolls globally, the series has captivated millions of young viewers since its debut. Season 2 promises even more educational and heartwarming content, introducing preschoolers and toddlers to a new character, fresh songs, and nursery rhymes.
The new season consists of 18 episodes, each five minutes long. Children can sing along to 13 original songs, including “We Entertained You” and “Creaky, Squeaky, Spooky Fun,” as well as five nursery rhymes like “The ABCs.” Additionally, viewers will meet Baby Annabell, the latest addition to the BABY born family, joining the cast in their make-believe adventures.
“BABY born goes beyond the doll to be a constant companion in children’s everyday lives through the world of entertainment,” said Anne Parducci, Chief Content Officer at MGA Entertainment. “Inspiring imaginative play, empathy, and creativity, BABY born dolls are kids’ babies, best friends, and favorite show all in one.”
The series, which brings to life the adventures of characters Emma, Teddy, and their friends, is based on real-life dolls and a stuffed bear. The characters navigate new everyday challenges, dive into imaginative worlds, and learn valuable lessons about life. From make-believe school and scavenger hunts to trick-or-treating and flying through the clouds, each episode combines fun with lessons in teamwork, friendship, and emotional growth.
BABY born dolls and accessories are available for purchase in the U.S. at Target, Walmart, Amazon, MGA Shop, and major retailers internationally. Families in the U.S. can subscribe to the BABY born YouTube channel to stay updated on new episodes. The series is also available globally in English and German on platforms like YouTube, Kidoodle, ITVX, and Toggo, with plans to roll out in additional languages and streaming services over the coming months. New episodes will be released bi-weekly through spring 2025, with special holiday episodes scheduled for later this year.
