TAOST Entertainment has set the stage for a groundbreaking shift in the animation and multimedia content creation landscape with the introduction of its blockchain-powered platform, TAOST Club. Scheduled to launch on April 8, TAOST Club aims to democratize the creative process, inviting creators, professionals, and enthusiasts worldwide to partake in shaping the future of entertainment.
Joshua Mandel, Managing Director of DNEG IXP, and Guanglei Jia, Director of Business Development for DNEG, emphasized the platform’s commitment to transparency, security, and efficiency in animation production and global distribution. They highlighted the collaborative opportunities for both emerging creators and established studios within the professional TAOST community.
Membership in TAOST Club is symbolized by the “Soul Bound Token” (SBT), signifying each user’s connection to the projects within the digital ecosystem. Members can participate in decision-making processes, contribute to creative endeavors, and engage directly with projects.
The platform’s beta phase is set to launch with an ambitious goal of developing six animation projects, including feature films, episodic series, and multimedia creations, backed by a collaboration pledge of $1 million USD from TAOST.
Corey Smith, SVP of Creative Operations, Animation & VFX at ReDefine, a DNEG company, hailed TAOST Club as a beacon of revolutionary change in the animation industry. He emphasized the platform’s role in fostering innovation and collaboration, providing a nurturing environment for projects from their inception, and redefining the standards of creative excellence.
TAOST Entertainment’s unveiling of TAOST Club signals a transformative shift in animation industry dynamics, promising a future where creativity, transparency, and collaboration reign supreme.
